With over 50 thousand downloads and still going strong Asoka is arguably one of the fastest rising stars on the underground scene. Unlike other underground artists, Asoka has already worked with numerous multi-platinum stars some of which include: 50 Cent and G-Unit, Juelz Santana, 2Pac’s legendary group The Outlawz, and Eminem & Dr Dre’s protégé Stat Quo.

In 2006 Asoka appeared on an official 2Pac Shakur CD sponsored by Sharkur’s company Makaveli-Branded. As always Asoka continued making his way around the mixtape circuit while working on his new album. 17 months in the making, with over a hundred songs in the vault, Asoka stepped out of the studio with “The Underground Artist.” Picking only his favorite records from the period, the album is packed with 21 songs and has a running time of 79 minutes and 56 seconds.

We can now verify that Shady/Aftermath artist Stat Quo is confirmed to be on Asoka's latest album The Underground Artist. The album will feature 19 tracks and is slated for a Febuary release.

Asoka’s brand new mixtape has been released! It is called “Asoka Before The Legend.” Download it now for free on the music page.

The mixtape includes the original recordings Asoka made with Young Noble from Young Buck’s Ca$hiville Ent. The mixtape also includes the original version of the song “Heroes Always Die” which features Hussein Fatal from 2pac’s group, The Outlawz.

Taylor, the father of the Compton raised rapper, The Game, also appears on side with Asoka on the song “Hustler’s Dream – American Gangster.”

Asoka has been hard at work in the studio to bring his fans his most anticipated album to date. Titled "The Underground Artist" Asoka has promised to make this an album that will be remembered throughout his career. There is no release date set but Asoka stated "look for it to be out before the end of 07 for sure, and thats my word!"

Asoka recorded the record after viewing the ill-treatment that Shilpa Shetty experienced in the UK.

On another note Asoka recently began recording for his next album and has already worked with the legend, Young Noble, from 2pac's group The Outlawz. The album is slated to be released Summer 07.
